I am a smart, independent and funny guy. Could be serious at times. Shy at the beginning but warm up quickly with people I click with. Loyal to friends and sensitive to other people's feelings. Well travelled but always looking for new experiences. I enjoy meeting new people especially those different from my background as they bring new perspectives into my life.
Having been focusing on my career in the last few years I am falling behind on my personal life. Then one day all of a sudden I realized most of my friends are married or settled down. I am now looking forward to meeting the right person and start to build a life together. After all, no matter how romantic Paris is, it's a lonely city without that special someone to share the journey with.
I think the most important factor that makes a relationship work is compatibility. Being able to enjoy doing the same things and having similar mindsets can help bring two people closer and eliminate a lot of unnecessary fights. So it'll be ideal to date someone I can at least be friends with or feel like myself when he is around. I am willing to make every effort though, to respect my partner's lifestyle and gradually bring our differences to a minimum.
My ideal partner would be a guy around my age, in shape and easy on the eyes. A relationship with no physical attraction doesn't work very well. However a positive outlook on life and a kind heart mean a lot more to me than a super model face or money and power.
