I work in musical theatre (I know how gay that is). I like cooking, playing the piano, singing, going out for drinks, going dancing, going to the movies...pretty normal activities. I don't like cleaning, going to the gym (not that I don't do either), or people who don't say what they are really thinking - altough does anyone like that? What am i doing on this website? My best friend asked me to describe my fantasy guy and then came up with this website for me. I have been single for the last six months or so and this is my first attempt at doing the web thing...we'll see how it goes. I'm originally from the midwest (Indiana to be exact) and I've been living on the east coast for the last six years. A normal day for me is me teaching a class or a voice lesson, going to rehearsal for one of the shows I've been working on that evening and then wrapping up at the piano bar or at home with my netflix. I know that isn't exactly the coolest thing in the history of time. But, I want to meet somebody that might like to do the same things - or at least commiserate with me when I get home. I don't need someone to have all of the same interests as me but I do want to find someone that likes to try new things and isn't afraid to speak their mind.

Dinner someplace new and interesting. A long walk so that we could get to know each other better. Wrap up the night by having a nightcap someplace relatively quiet so we can plan the next date. Honestly, I haven't been on very many first dates - I normally find myself getting involved with people I all ready know so the things I could count as real first dates I could easily count on one hand. But I'm ready to try something new.

I like to try just about anything one time...but, I'm afraid of heights so if it's possible I'd like to avoid anything that has me dangling from someplace high.

A good horror movie, a Broadway musical, a great dinner, hanging out at the Duplex (and I work there sometimes which means I'm a dork), an afternoon at the NYPL Performing Arts Branch, hanging out in Central Park, watching some tennis or football (I'm from Indiana and old habits die hard), going to a concert (rock, jazz, classical, pop, even country music...I'm open to just about anything). Coming home to my boyfriend at the end of the day.
